Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) is a programming language developed by System Application Programing (SAP). SAP is a German company that develops ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System) systems. In the year 1972 five IBM employees in a place called Walldroff (Germany) in a company called SAP found out SAP Tool. So it¿s a German product and all the standard programs will be in German language. We have the option of converting this program into individual languages as SAP supports some more than 100 languages. A person who develop ABAP module is called as ABAP consultant. He is responsible for doing some coding in SAP.
