A handbook of maize breeding germplasm

In this edition in an evolutionary manner arranged races, varieties, synthetic populations and inbred lines. Manual consists of nine parts: In the first part describes the 433 races of maize from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Central America, etc. In the second part shows the 1209 corn varieties from 45 different countries and CIMMYT. The third part describes 513 varieties, for the first time included some varieties of Eastern Europe and the such countries of the former Soviet Union, like Moldova, Russia, Ukraine. 1373 varieties, improved varieties and composite populations of corn from the USA are described in the fourth part. In the fifth part shows the 784 synthetic populations of maize from 42 countries and CIMMYT. In the sixth part describes 756 US maize synthetic populations. In the seventh part describes the 3870 corn inbred lines from 36 countries. In the eighth part presented pedigrees of 2401 corn inbred lines development and patented by 71 commercial companies. In the ninth part describes the 4226 US maize inbred lines.
