A contemplative look at Covid-19 in Tunisia

The coronavirus appeared in December 2019 in China. It is considered highly contagious and transmissible to many people very rapidly in most countries, and is spreading on a larger scale across continents to create a SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.During the median incubation period (5 to 14 days), the person is considered contagious. The main symptoms of this virus are fever, coughing and shortness of breath. Other symptoms may also be present, such as asthenia, anorexia, body aches and dyspnea. In the first instance, diagnosis is made by clinical examination, confirmed by further tests. Either a rapid test based on the detection of viral antigens, or the detection of host cell antibodies. The latter can lead to false results. An RT-PCR test or a chest CT scan can also be used to identify or confirm COVID 19.The Wuhan parent strain undergoes variant mutations. Sanger sequencing was used to detect these variants.
