A Comparative study of the epiphyton and phytoplankton biomass in Yewa lagoon at Iragbo in relation to environmental characteristics has specifically been assembled as a material to help students and scholars especially in Nigerian universities have a glimpse of specific floral variations in ecological factors and coastal ecology of particularly the South Western Nigeria. This work is written in materials written by the author to for students and other environmentalists who are passionate about solving problems caused by man to the the aquatic ecosystem. It will give useful information to both undergraduates and to post graduate students alike. Information is equally available on local species, pollution types and locations for instance south western Nigeria. Documentations are also done on algal species endemic to coastal Waters of Nigeria including estuaries and lagoons.
