A sound educational system is considered the backbone of the developing country like India and Iran. The teacher is the first person around which the entire educational system revolves. By and large, the success of any educational system depends on the quality and capability of the teacher who is indispensable in the system and thus forms an important force in the development of a society. As Indian National Education Commission (1964-66) has pointed out ¿Teacher is the one who shapes the destiny of the whole country through the process of education¿. Teaching is undoubtedly an important profession. In the history of education one can hardly ever find a human civilization not exalting teachers. However, with the expansion of the educational systems within recent centuries, and the concurrent increase in the number of teachers, in practice being a teacher nowadays is not viewed as important as it used to be.
