Written expression: a challenge for the work of the school library

In Secondary Education there is a problem with written expression, which is evidenced in the limited abilities of seventh grade students to face any type of activity destined to this process from the context of the school library, demanding a transformation based on a scientific conception. In order to contribute to its solution, a system of activities to favor written expression from the school library is proposed with the following objective: To propose a system of activities from the work of the school library to favor written expression in seventh grade students of the ESBU "Joe Westbrook Rosales".In the investigation, methods of the empirical level were used as the pedagogical experiment in its variant of pre-experiment, which demonstrated that the proposal is effective, because it managed to favor the written expression from the school library, it contributed to awake the interest for the developed activities, it served as preparation to the librarians in the theoretical and methodological foundations to execute the written expression from the construction of diverse types of texts.
