Women's participation in conflict management :

The issue of conflict cannot be the exclusive preserve of men these days. It concerns everyone. Men and women must be united in order to find solutions to the evils that plague us. The participation of women in the management of conflicts could bring a plus to the fight led by men. In October 2000, the United Nations Security Council held a debate on "Women, Peace and Security". This debate led to the adoption of resolution 1325 on October 31 of the same year. This resolution makes it possible to understand the disastrous consequences of armed conflicts on women. It also emphasizes the need for effective institutional mechanisms to guarantee their protection and participation in peace processes. Search For Common Ground (SFCG) is a social entrepreneur that develops and implements multidimensional programs. These programs incorporate new methods of conflict resolution. This led us to focus on the participation of women in conflict management: the case of Search for Common Ground's CMM project.
