Women in Advanced Computing and Software for Defense

This book provides diverse perspectives, experiences, and expertise from women who have excelled in their respective fields to further Advanced Computing and Software, one of the 14 critical technology areas for the  U.S.  Department of Defense. The book covers specific critical technology area focuses on advanced computing capabilities, software systems, and related technologies. Key components include High-Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), Software Engineering and Cybersecurity, Data Management and Analytics, Modeling and Simulation, and Software-Defined Capabilities. This book focuses on women’s contributions to these technical areas in the historically male-dominated fields and industry.
