Water Saving and Water Productivity through Precision Land Leveling

This book presents the assessment of water saving and water productivity through laser land leveling (precision land leveling technology) at Latif Experimental Farm, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam near Hyderabad in Sindh province, Pakistan. Experimental design was Randomized Complete Design (CRD) with three replications. The data regarding elevations of various grid points, moisture distribution, irrigation water application time, crop yield, and crop water productivity for all plots before and after laser and conventional leveling are included in this book. Laser land leveler has shown higher uniformity as compared to conventionally leveled plots. Standard deviation difference (SDD) values uniformity in Laser land leveling as compared to conventionally leveled plot and all important aspects from land preparation to harvesting at length.
