Walnut production technology under Kashmir conditions

Kashmir has been the home of large varieties of fruits and temperate fruit production has been a major share in the economy of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir state has already created a special place in the international trade of walnuts. The entire export of the country comes from Jammu and Kashmir state. Walnut is one of the most important income generating high value nut crop and suitable for poor farmer in high hills of India. This book provides a sound knowledge on scientific walnut cultivation so as to achieve the goal of higher productivity with superior quality. I dedicate this book to my sweet mother TAJA BANOO who has left this world in 2005. I am short of words to express her love and care. I express my sincere and profound gratitude to my father for his leadership, valuable guidance.
