Visionary Leader as agent of change

This book is based on a research about visionary leader as agent of change in EKH-Church in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. It unravels the barriers that block the vision execution process and suggest its implications to the church leadership today. The research found that a visionary leader has to be God-fearing, compassionate, servant hearted, motivator, reasonable and has to be an impartial judge. He has also to be courageous yet wise, disciplined yet humble, decisive, proactive actors, bold risk takers, a man of integrity and a team player who delegates and networks which involves developing, guiding, and finally managing the vision, the success of which calls for the leader to avoid retrogressive traditions, fear of the un-known, complacency, and shortcuts.
