The term sellout has been wrongly applied in Zimbabwean history. It is a term that has been used one-sided in the liberation struggle of Zimbabwe. It must be noted that the term has no universal application. It was used according to geographical, social and political context. Before applying the term one has to know who said that when and why. Many Zimbabweans had died because of the wrong application of the term, many are enemies of the state because of the wrong interpretation of the term and some are disabled due to this term.
