Understanding Contract Termination Dynamics in Public Building Projects

Over a period of six months, the research will employ both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to provide a comprehensive analysis of contract termination dynamics.

The significance of this study lies in its potential to contribute to the existing literature on construction contract termination. By identifying the causes and effects of termination, the research will generate valuable insights for policymakers and practitioners, offering effective strategies to manage and mitigate the consequences of contract termination. Public construction projects play a vital role in delivering social and economic benefits, and the implications of their premature termination can be substantial. By conducting this research, policymakers and practitioners will gain a better understanding of contract termination dynamics and be equipped with knowledge to optimize project management practices and minimize the negative impacts associated with termination.

To accomplish the research objectives, a budget of 20,000 ETB has been estimated. This allocation will facilitate rigorous data collection and analysis, ensuring the research provides reliable and insightful findings. Ultimately, the findings of this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on construction contract termination and serve as a valuable resource for stakeholders involved in public construction projects.
