Tver State Medical University - pages of history

The Tver State Medical University, which has a rich history, has been in the educational space of Russia for more than 80 years. The training of medical personnel with a dental profile began in the twentieth century in St. Petersburg in the dental school of I. Pashutin, which became the forerunner of the Leningrad Institute of Dentistry. In 1954, it was transferred to Kalinin and the institute with two faculties - medical and stomatological - was organized. The book uses the documents of the State Central Historical Archive of St. Petersburg, the journals "Zuboobrachechny Vestnik" (1902-1906), "Vestnik Dentistov" (1920), the documents from the archive of the Tver Medical University.
