Transition from non injection to injection drug use

A exemplary work by Mr Sanjeev Raj Neupane on "Factors associated with transition from non injection to injection drug use". The study provides information on the factors associated with transition from non injection to injection drug use. This study was conducted in Pokhara sub metropolitan city of Nepal. The study finds that the major factors associated with transition from non injection to injection drug use are; pressure from injecting friends, need of more doses, lack of money and easy availability of injecting drugs. The prevention program, awareness program and life skill programs at early stage in the career of oral drug users could help to stop them from being transitioned to injection drug use.
