Tourism Impacts

Over the past few decades impacts from tourism have been given great attention because of the rapid global growth of the industry. Due to the positive economic results it can bring, developing countries focus on tourism as a main strategy to improve the standard of living. The socio-economic impacts that also occur are usually perceived to be negative. Overall, the relationship between economic and socio-economic impacts is substantial and complex.
