Tips To Pass MRCS Part A

MRCS Part A is a professional degree. It depends greatly on work experience and proper handling of a clinical problem. Therefore, the correct answer may differ according to the local hospital guidelines. However, there must be broad or basic rules in surgical practice.MRCS Part A exam consists of two parts taken on the same day. The first part deals with ¿Applied Basic Sciences¿ and the second part tests the ¿Principles of Surgery-in-General¿. A passing mark should be achieved in both parts.Successful passing of the Intercollegiate Part A Examination qualifies the trainee surgeon to enter the Intercollegiate Part B MRCS (OSCE).I have written this book in order to highlight the important cases which may face the surgeon in his/her practice and consequently in the exam. This book is the net results of our broad practise in surgery in England and Iraq and from our teaching experience as well.
