Theory and methodology of physical education and sport

Methodology of Physical Education and sports is a scientific discipline, component of the system of pedagogical sciences, which studies the organization and development of the instructive-educational process at a certain object of the curriculum. The methodology deals not only with the process of teaching/transmission of knowledge, but also tends to solve all the problems involved in learning the respective educational object. In this regard, the Methodology of any educational object makes clarifications in relation to: ¿ the purpose and tasks of the respective educational object,¿ its place and role in the cultural and professional formation of the students' personality,¿ the content of the respective educational object,¿ the specific or adapted methods of teaching and learning of the respective educational object,¿ specific training principles,¿ the specific forms of organization of the activity,¿ the content and specifics of the evaluation of the students' performance,¿ the content and specifics of planning and bookkeeping,¿ adapting modern and contemporary methodological guidelines to the specificity of the respective teaching object,¿ the role of the material base.
