The Manas epic and historical sources

The monograph examines theonims, eponyms, anthroponyms, ethnonyms, ethnotoponyms in the epic Manas and their parallels, analogies and similarities in ancient Mesopotamian, biblical and Orkhon-Yenisean texts, The Tale of Igor's Campaign and The Tale of Bygone Years, Rashid ad-Din's Collection of Chronicles and The Secret History of the Mongols, works of European travelers (Plano Carpini, Rubruk, Marco Polo) and medieval Oriental poetry, etc. ¿.
