The interactive language teaching

Some educators observed that students could produce sentences accurately in the lesson, but could not use them appropriately when genuinely communicating outside of the classroom. Others noted that being able to communicate required more than mastering linguistic structures. Students may know the rules of linguistic usage, but be unable to use the language. It is the Interactive Approach to language teaching that helps to solve such problems. The present work is going to define the meaning of Interactivity. We will try to classify it and to present different studies in this field. Also here we will state the main principles of interactive language teaching. And finally there will be proposed different practical tasks (exercises, activities) based on interactive approach to language teaching.
