The Disciplinary Scale

Most pedagogic approaches across the world lack the appropriate potentials to train students with the attitude skills necessary for effective learning in the teaching/learning process. The Competence Based Approach (CBA) used in Cameroon for instance is appreciable but cannot deliver the best of its capabilities because it lacks the full potential to train students with the necessary attitude skills to enable them benefit adequately from this approach. This situation is evident in the rising disciplinary problems in secondary and high schools in Africa and the world including Cameroon. In the USA for instance, disciplinary offences have gone up to the level of gun violence causing deaths. The DISCIPLINARY SCALE is a tool designed to incorporate appropriate technicalities, those aspects that check harmony in the functioning of the school system and ensures with the help of the ethics procedure that humane and honest considerations are made in disciplinary decision making, with the interest of the student being the main priority. This prompts the student to willingly obey school rules and regulations. A trial in 2021 was massively successful.
