He has pursue the topic relentlessly for several years and with this work has carved out a solid position in the body of literature on the Diaspora.This study explores the many concepts inherent in the Diaspora Compromise as expressed in African-American and Caribbean literature; the sense of dual belonging, the dilemma of ¿home¿ and the many challenges of crossing cultural lines. And then proposes the Diaspora Compromise as a means of breaking free from cultural limitations and finding self-acceptance in being both African and global.
