This book is written with the expectations to reevaluate time honored 99-Tc Three Phase Bone Scan (TPBS) by vascular endothelium function and popularize for the diagnosis of osteomyelitis and expand the concept to incorporate 67-Ga TPBS. Emergence of WBC scan and PET scan gradually replaced conventional TPBS and gallium scan for the diagnosis of osteomyelitis though WBC scan and PET scans have their own limitations and are often cost prohibitive. Facilities for WBC scan and PET scan do not exist everywhere even in the developed world.
