The book is devoted to research of processes of modification of surface layers of nonequilibrium metallic materials by laser radiation. The book presents results of experimental researches of the authors, devoted to physical processes taking place in surface layers of nonequilibrium copper-nickel foils under the action of focused laser radiation. Thermophysical processes of irradiated material treatment by laser beam are considered. Mechanisms, allowing to explain changes, observed in a material as a result of laser influence, are offered.
