Beschreibung

This book is all about the concept of Rough Set Theory. It is method that deals with the vagueness and uncertainty in the decision making process. The salient feature of intelligent behavior is the ease with which the vagueness or inadequateness is dealt with by the concept. In this theory, the means of expressing vagueness is in terms of boundary regions of a set of objects. At times it is not possible to decide certainly about a particular data, present in a large reservoir of multidimensional data, whether it is present inside the set or not. Rough set is a type of decision making system. But in case of large or varied set of data there may be presence of redundant amount of data which are in indistinguishable state are superfluous in nature. The book mainly deals with reduction of a large table. The redundant data that has been placed in a set or a table has been extracted out so that only the meaningful information remains inside the set or table. Minimum Reduct of information system algorithm has been used to do this work. In this case if a large table is inserted into the database, the redundant information is cancelled out by removing same type information...........
