The main objective of this thesis is to analyze the ability of students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) to improve their reading skills through didactic strategies. In order to analyze the reading level of the students, the Reading Skills Evaluation Guide (Andaluza, 2006) was used, which analyzes reading speed, reading accuracy, syntactic mastery, vocabulary, reading mode, reading comprehension, reading efficiency and identification of the main idea.On the other hand, for the elaboration of the proposal, "El Programa de Lectura y Escritura en Yucatán Material de apoyo para el trabajo en el aula y la escuela Estrategia Estatal para el Fomento de la Lectura y Escritura" (The Reading and Writing Program in Yucatán: Support material for classroom and school work) was analyzed. The proposal is designed to work with a group of 28 regular students and 2 students with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
