Some Physiological and Molecular parameters related with obese adults

The aim of this study was to assess some physiological and immunological parameters in obese adult as well as to study the relationship between the ages, Body mass index (BMI) and waist circumference(WC) with both groups and sex. In addition, find the association between DNA polymorphism of some the candidate genes and obesity (phenotype) and to investigate the gene mutation that may be related to obesity using PCR- SSCP-sequencing technique. The study was conducted between July 2015- to January 2016 in the AL-Qasim Green University College of Agriculture, Biotechnology Laboratory and it included fifty two obesity (13 male ,39 female) suffering from obesity (excluded patients undergoing from chronic diseases) were attended to the Department of Nutrition in Merjan Teaching Hospital , Babylon ,Iraq, and thirty seven individuals as control group (19 male ,18 female) with age ranging (19-40 year), besides all obese and control groups were from the same ethnic group (Arabic).
