Solving Applied Mathematical Problems through MATLAB

The main objective of the book titled ¿Solving Applied Mathematical Problems through MATLAB" is to provide the students with the opportunity to understand the practical aspects of the Mathematical concepts through programming skills using the MATLAB environment. This book targets primarily on certain mathematical application problems that can be solved through MATLAB. The order in which the mathematical applications are presented in this book is chosen based on requirement in introductory engineering courses. Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of this book cover Matrix Algebra and Differential Calculus, respectively, which arise in diversified technical areas. The book can also serve as a reference manual in engineering mathematics courses where MATLAB is used as a tool for solving. The reader should be aware that there are many ways to solve a problem and one such approach is solving through MATLAB. Like other programming languages, MATLAB is developing from version to version, and some of the commands explained and used here may alter in syntax or functionality in the future.
