This book discuses women's participation in the informal sector in Kenya. It looks at Socio-economic attributes and how they affect the performance of women owned enterprises. Its important to look at the social background of these entrepreneurs, because it affects the performance of their enterprises. Yet majority of women in developing world are employed in the informal sector.
