Shaping students' aesthetic culture in today's context

This monograph outlines the main theoretical provisions of the concept of students' aesthetic culture, which is understood as an integral pedagogical category, which includes content (aesthetic knowledge, ideas, views, beliefs, abilities, skills, experiences, judgments, values, creative abilities) and essence (creative aesthetic activities of people to create beauty in life) components. The main parameters of the process of formation of aesthetic culture of students in modern school are defined. The model and pedagogical technology of forming the aesthetic culture of high school students are justified. The criteria and indicators of formation of schoolchildren's aesthetic culture, as well as pedagogical conditions contributing to the harmonious process of including personality in aesthetic activities are outlined. The main results of the experience of implementing the pedagogical technology of forming the aesthetic culture of high school students in the educational space of the modern school are analyzed.
