Senior High School Readiness among Secondary School in San Miguel Dist

Findings of the study revealed that readiness of the Secondary Schools in San Miguel Districts as to budget, training of teachers, facilities, acceptance and understanding of stakeholders in the implementation of the program is least ready. Majority of the students lack mastery in three tracks which show their extent of readiness in the implementation of Senior High School. The unavailability of industry partners also affects in enhancing student¿s abilities and skills. Based on the findings of the study, the researcher recommended the following: Teachers should undergo intensive trainings related to the program to upgrade their teaching methods and achieve students¿ higher proficiency level; strengthen the partnership of school and the local government unit so with the partner - industries to enhance cross-referencing; student¿s exposure on practicum should be undertaken to develop skills and provide them a concrete hands-on experiences; equip the school with complete facilities and equipment for the effective implementation of the program; and career guidance services should be instituted toward improving the employability of the graduates.
