The book is about college student¿s field trip from Nairobi city to the coastal region of Kenya notably Mombasa and its environments. It covers about four main domains; preparation for field trip, challenges that could be encountered by field researchers, how to overcome some of the challenges and the actual field trip as undertaken by the college students from the author¿s creativity. The novel is an interesting piece just as field trip is especially to teenage college students. It details the major tourist attractions of Mombasa both as a city and as a historic site. It examines mandatory preparations that are key to success for any college field trips especially to the coastal region of Kenya. The novel also discusses the major challenges that could be encountered by field trip researchers, how to overcome them as well as major tourist attractions of Mombasa and the coastal strip in general.
