S.O.D.H. [Study of Obesity, Diabetes, Hypertension]

This book focus on the health conditions of teaching and administrative staff working at Bhartiya Vidhya Bhanvan's School of Vadodara City of Gujarat State, India. The Metabolic Syndrome- Obesity,Diabetes & Hypertension which creates many life threatening complications like Stroke, Heart Attack and other Cardiac and Vascular complications have been studied and analyzed. This study infers that almost 35% population are at the risk of developing metabolic disorders or are having such disorders as per advancing age.6% of the population has high blood sugar and are at risk of developing other metabolic disorder as per blood sugar criteria. 16% of population has systolic hypertension & 22.5% population has diastolic hypertension, both this group has high risk of development of other metabolic disorder as per the blood pressure criteria. 71% of the population is overweight and at high risk of developing metabolic disorder. Out of this 6% are at the HIGHEST RISK as per BMI ceriteria.
