Resourcing for Effective Learning in Schools

The book, Resourcing for Effective Learning in Schools, is an instructional resource that is developed to suit the training needs of students of post graduate diploma in education as well as undergraduate students of the faculty of education and teacher training colleges. It is prepared in accordance with the recommended curriculum for the teaching of lessons on learning resource development in the social sciences. Also deliberately included in this book is background information on education. This background information is considered necessary for prospective teachers whose post-secondary education did not include teacher training. The language of the book is consciously simplified so that undergraduate students of education can equally benefit from the content of the book as a resource for learning. The book is directed at enhancing the development and utilisation of educational resources, not just to promote effective and efficient teaching but basically to ensure the sustenance of learning, beyond the classroom.
