Regenerative Endodontics

The paradigm of Regenerative Endodontics has gained researchers' attention over the past few years, as it provides an alternative therapeutic option for challenging immature permanent teeth with pulp necrosis. In view of the fact that the influence of irrigation protocols on growth factors release and cellular behavior is equally important as root canal disinfection for successful pulp-dentin complex regeneration, this book throws light on Regenerative Endodontics approaches and highlights the rule of bioactive dentin matrix molecules, with a detailed investigation on the release of TGF-¿1 into root canal space following various final irrigation protocols and their subsequent effect on Dental Pulp Stem Cells (DPSCs) behavior.
