Quantitative Analysis (Laboratory Practicum)

The present book contains laboratory works of quantitative analysis. The purpose of the laboratory practicum is to strengthen the knowledge gained as a result of processing the theoretical issues of analytical chemistry, to study the methodology necessary for laboratory research. Most of practical works does not require to use complicated equipment, scarce reagents and is represented in a form of works done at the Sokhumi State University. A unified approach is used in the discussion of the topic: a brief theoretical overview of the key issues related to laboratory work; the purpose of the work; resources; calculative section; prescribed stages of experimental section; processing and calculation of experiment results; questions for self-assessment; typical tests, study assignments, and their sample solutions. Each topic ends with the test experimental task.This practicum is intended for BA and MA students studying chemistry, biology, pharmacy and related specialties at higher education institutions.
