Quality Assurance in Zimbabwe's 2-5-2 Teaching Practice

While there has been a growing body of literature on Teacher Education in Zimbabwe, this study to the best of the author's knowledge is the first to examine in depth the phenomenon of quality assurance in Teaching Practice at primary teacher education. It is a scholarly contribution to quality assurance in teacher education in general and teaching practice in particular in a country that takes teacher education very seriously where some countries in the region have even closed teachers' colleges. The literature extensively covers international and Zimbabwean studies on the subject hence is of valuable contribution to the teacher education literature in the international, local, regional contexts and elsewhere in Africa. Very ideal for Teacher Education Institutions and mentors working with student teachers.
