With the adoption of the Uniform Act on September 10, 2015, on the new conciliation procedure, in Grand Bassam, Côte d'Ivoire, the OHADA legislator has made available to companies in the region a tool enabling them to effectively resolve any difficulties they face. Managers whose companies encounter such difficulties are called upon to act with diligence. A conciliator will be chosen to enter into negotiations with the various parties involved, with the aim of reaching a concordat. Solutions will then be found, whatever the level of damage to the economy, to avoid the sudden disappearance of the company, which is expected to recover in the long term.
