Prescriptive Curricula

The orientation of this work is based on a prescriptive and collaborative theory of learning where curriculum prescriptions are proposed based on best practices in the field that are customized to accommodate the unique requirements of the learner (and the SME) and the learning environment. The ideal solution then is a meld between the type of learning required, the characteristics of the leaner, and the demands of the learning environment.The use of technological enhancements in instructional delivery and advances in our knowledge of learning in this book include use of scenarios to improve articulation to acquire skill certification, a prescription for blended learning, use of social media and webinars for performance support in a virtual learning environment, and the use of electronic templates for improving teaching strategies using an LCMS.
