It is well known that legal regulation is an effective means of impact on social relations, implementation of the rights and legitimate interests of an individual, including in the sphere of criminal procedure. The need for this type of regulation arose due to the existence of asocial behavior such as crime, which has a negative impact on the realization of legitimate interests, rights and freedoms of a person and citizen. Actively assisting the investigation and the court in the process of investigation and consideration of a criminal case, cooperating suspect (accused) helps to establish the event of the committed crime and establish the role of each person in the implementation of the criminal intent, as well as to prevent the commission of new crimes being prepared.
