Population Dynamics and Family Planning

This book has been written carrying minor variations based on suggestions from eminent academics of human geography in the Doctoral thesis entitled "An Appraisal of Population Dynamics and Family Welfare Programme in Hardoi District (Uttar Pradesh)" submitted in H.N.B. Garhwal University, Uttarakhand.This book has made an attempt to address human issues like population dynamics and family planning. This book is based on the micro-level secondary and primary data of the Hardoi district located in Doab of the Ganga-Gomti rivers.In this book, the effects of fertility, mortality, and migration on the size and composition of the population have been analyzed from a spatial perspective, as well as a periodic study of population change and the progress of family planning in the regional landscape. This study analyses how socio-economic, geographical factors, and contraceptive methods contribute to population control. It is expected that this book will provide theoretical, methodological and practical exercise, on topics population, healthcare, family planning to researchers, policymakers, and various government, non-governmental organizations involved in population control in Ganga plain.
