Polymer flooding as a cheap and applicable chemical method is considered as cEOR. Most of the oil reservoir are deposited in high temperature and high salinity (HTHS) condition. The commercial polymer such as polyacrylamide and Xanthan are not appropriate for HTHS condition due to mechanical and thermal degradation. In this book we focuced on new polymer for HTHS condition in simulation and experimental studied.
