Pharmacology-III is a useful book for the VI semester B.Pharmacy students and also it is useful to other health professionals Pharmacology-III is a PCI prescribed syllabus for VI semester and it covers respiratory, gastrointestinal, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and chronopharmacology.Respiratory system covers the pharmacology of drugs used in asthma, COPD, cough and nasal congestion. Gastrointestinal system covers the pharmacology of drugs used in peptic ulcer, constipation, diarrhea and vomiting. Chemotherapy covers the pharmacology of antitubercular agents, antileprotic agents, antifungal agents, antiviral drugs, anthelmintics, antimalarial drugs, antiamoebic agents, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases and chemotherapy of malignancy. Immunopharmacology covers the pharmacology of Immunostimulants and Immunosuppressant. Toxicology covers the Definition and basic knowledge of acute, subacute and chronic toxicity. General principles of treatment of poisoning and management of barbiturates, morphine, organophosphosphorus compound, lead, mercury and arsenic poisoning. Chronopharmacology covers the Definition of cycles, and their significance leading to chronotherapy.
