Performance of Elevated Service Reservoirs

Elevated service reservoirs or elevated water tanks are the landmarks for the efficient water distribution system and form important component of the water distribution system. These structures have large mass concentrated at the top of slender supporting structure hence these structures are especially vulnerable to horizontal forces due to earthquake and wind.
