In recent years, solar desalination of water has been one of the most important technological works undertaken in many countries. Many areas in Middle East and developing countries have little or no pure water supplies which can be applicable for drinking purpose and, therefore, they strongly depend on producing pure water by desalination. Currently, several methods of solar water desalination are known. Since, the cost of energy is drastically increasing all over the world, today, utilization of solar energy for water desalination is become more attractive. Solar desalination is predominantly important for locations where solar isolation is high and there is a shortage of fresh water. Direct use of solar energy method is the best known method for solar water desalination.Thanks.
