Operating Theatre and Surgical Instruments

This book is compiled according to the method of functioning of the surgical instruments for different surgical procedures, to meet the needs of educators, learners, caregivers in diverse disciplines and to give perioperative care for surgical patients. Surgical instruments in many hospitals are almost the same. Maybe there are slight variations because of some technology products, their needs and availability of the instruments, but the basic principles and practice will be the same everywhere. Theatre nursing students, medical students, and surgical residents will have a vague idea about the surgical instruments, equipment and its routine functions.I am sure that this book will be a good remedy to such uncertainly to some extent. Theoretical knowledge about surgical instruments and its functions, the way how to use them properly handle without damage should be given in the class room and skill lab.I finally believe that this small book will be a companion and guide to the operating theatre student nurses, medical students, staffs and surgical residents.Suggestions for further improvements will be gratefully accepted.
