One Belt One Road Initiative and Globalization

Over the past 30 years, Chinäs reform and opening up has achieved great success. At present, Chinäs economy is closely related to the world economy. Under the circumstances of the new economic norm and the ¿idle¿ reform, China urgently needs to build a new open economic development system and comprehensively deepen the reform and development in various fields. The ¿Belt & Road¿ Initiative was first put forward by general secretary Xi Jinping in the keynote speech at the Bo¿ao Forum for Asia in 2013, and was further elaborated during the same year when he visited ASEAN and Central Asia. The Silk Road Economic Belt and the twenty-first Century Silk Road proposed in March 2015, elaborated the concept of ¿Belt & Road¿ development, and also planned the domestic development concept.
