Off Target

The novel Off Target is a real life story about Nimi and Iyaye among several other characters any reader and lover of stories and drama would like to read and enjoy. I explored both dramatic, highly figurative and narrative techniques in the narration; with its setting at sun set of Igbogene, South-South, Nigeria, it¿s a story of a young man and a lady he thought he had fell in love with and how it would all be. As it all lasts: We can read, ¿But Iyaye did not want to see her for shame. He felt she had gone to mock him. But it was not so. As for their church, Leon and Seseni were invited home to take over the church Iyaye had left behind. Nimi was appreciative of this new development. She would not like her labour to be in vain. They started a small congregation at Igbogene which blossomed into a viable institution with a missionary training institute.¿ It should be a lifetime lesson for individuals with self, pride and ego who needs to learn some humility even as high flyers, you must be mindful of your character. Today Iyaye really wants Nimi back and has sent friends to speak with her, but it all seems too late.Enjoy the entire story.
