Nuclear Energy and Its Peaceful Use

The paper presents mechanism of nuclear energy production, types of reactors, which are and could be developed and used for peaceful purposes, and foundation of nuclear energy in Poland. Now no one has any doubts that the modern nuclear reactors are the most safe and ecological ways for producing the energy. Considering that the resources of oil, gas and coal are limited a number of supporters of this project has been growing. The earth quakes and tsunami do not happen in Poland and reactors damaged in Japan have operated for 30 years. The reactors of the III-rd generation create the risk that is 100 times lower than for the II-nd generation reactors such as those used in Fukushima.
