Mrs. Lee observes Germany with curiosity, composure and dry humour: hotel rooms, railway delays, tourist rituals, regional customs, public signs, famous monuments, local food and the peculiar seriousness with which everyday situations sometimes unfold. What begins as a travel diary gradually becomes a portrait of cultural misunderstanding, politeness, irritation and wonder. Presented in English and Korean, this fictional travel diary is also a playful reflection on memory, translation and the strange afterlife of forgotten emails.
